Who we are
BASE AND CREW

Cagliari is the capital of Sardinia. According to archeological findings, it has been inhabited since the dawn of times. It used to be a Nuragic port, important Phoenician-Punic and later Roman centre of commerce. After the period of judicate government Pisans arrived and levelled the mytic Santa Igia to the ground. Then there were the Genovese, the Spanish, the Piedmontese and Arab pirates, then Germans occupied it. The latter would have left the city intact if it wasn’t for Americans who bombarded Cagliari in 1945.

The port of Cagliari welcomes visitors with 19th century buildings with porticos in Via Roma, shops, cafés and restaurants.
